For the week

Hosea 10:12 I (God) said, 'Plow new ground for yourselves, plant righteousness, and reap the blessings that your devotion to me will produce. It is time for you to turn to me, your LORD, and I will come and pour out blessings upon you.'

May you obey God and make this the best year ever!

Midweek Encouragement

A bird does not sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song (Chinese Proverb)

People are afraid of setting goals, afraid of dreaming and afraid of following through, and most of it stems from the fear of failure. Most people have a goal or goal in their minds but don’t want to commit it to paper or set it as an actual goal. They first want some kind of answer in order to be 100% sure they are on the right track. They are looking for answers to their doubts before they commit to their dreams. I don’t think it’s wrong to seek clarity, but it should be done while you get going. If you’ve got a song, start singing it! As you start singing you can improve and change and do what is necessary to get clarity or to make the necessary adjustments to get it the way you want it. If you don’t sing it then the song remains only in your head, you are the only person to hear it. Don’t wait until you think you have an answer, start doing what you have to do – start singing your song!

Identify what makes you tick, what energizes you, your strengths, in other words, find your song. Now start singing it!
Make it a great song!
